About Us
Aglow Custom Lighting began in 2024 with a simple realization: we were tired of spending hundreds of dollars every year on temporary Christmas lights, climbing ladders, and repeating the same cycle season after season. We set out to find a better way to celebrate our home year-round.
Our Story
We’re Ellen and Bob — born and raised in Omaha, where we met and started dating in high school, and are now raising our two daughters along with our dog, Louie. Our lives are rooted in family, community, and entrepreneurship.
A few years ago, Ellen and I set out to have permanent lighting installed on our own home. After reviewing several local options, we were underwhelmed by the poorly installed and underpowered lights we saw in person. That disappointment sparked a mission to find something better—something brighter, more powerful, and built to last. That’s when we discovered JellyFish Lighting. We loved it so much, we became customers and a licensed dealer.
